Just to add a bit of excitement for the 13th, a 13' 2" Great White washed ashore last week near Morris Island/Lighthouse, which happens to be at the north end of Folly. I was out surfing those dayz but again I worry more about the drive to the beach than being in the water. G Whites are not common for the southeast.
