How about we all meet up this summer somewhere in US, lets say - cape hatteras for a week or weekend, rent a house (500$ per week for 10 people) and drink some beers and fly some kites!

We have such an awesome family here like powerzone, buzz, domdino, barnes, npwfewer, bladerunner, tridute, beamerbob and everyone else ....

It would be freaking awesome to meet you all guys in real life! So I say let's pick a date, rent a house and all flying there for a heck of a time.

What do you guys think?

bloah, where are you located? The second annual JIBE event is already scheduled in May. That had a pretty good draw last year and should have even more attend this year. We are meeting in Charleston, SC this weekend and so far there are about 10 of us + families. Check out the Folly Beach thread. I would be up for a get together on OBX though. I might even hit the water with that nice bay out back.

Put me down as a maybe for right now. I was wanting to make another trip down that away myself around this time of the year. Just have to wait and see if I can come up with the funds. I'll try and talk harddrive into another trip down there also. :wee: :wee:

JIBE is May 7-9th at Jekyll Island, GA, which is just off the interstate at Brunswick GA. Lots of nice new bargain hotels at the interstate, and you aren't but about 20 minutes from Jekyll Island. We stayed at the Microtel and had no complaints at all. It was clean and new for about $60. Indoor room entrances as well. There are motels on JI but they are double the money and are showing their age and/or have limited access to the beach. There is a new hotel in the works there I understand.
