Infinity bar setup knock-off : Pics uploaded

we're developing an UPGRADE infinity-like bar and CH loop for those of you with Pulse2 or Outlaw bars with the grommet in the center.

price will be $80-$100 and parts will be machined from Stainless Steel and Aluminum . we can make your bar into ANY LENGTH you want. just specify the overall length you desire.

new barsetup works best with FDS but FLS can also be used.

we will need your bar and CH loop setup to retrofit the components onto. the bar will be permanently altered to accomodate a dual-depowerline setup.

prototype assembled. pics in following posts.

put your 'order requests' in now so we can get the materials ready.

interesting thread j.
not being very experienced with these things, what is it about the OEM Pulse 2 bar set up that owners feel the need for a (your) modded bar set up? is the infinity ch loop like Ozones new "mega" somethingorother chicken loop? I have a 13Pulse with 5th line. i understand my 12m Pulse2, which does not come with 5th line, can be retro'd to have one added.

we can make it for any bar... its just the majority of people are upgrading the pulse2 or outlaw bar to infinity.... we don't like the little hole thru the bar on the pulse2

we'll extend the service to ANY Chicken Loop, but the CH loop system may need to be customized since our first design was for FS loops.... we'll figure that out later.

paul, your pulse2 can be fit with a FDS, we'll refine the design to accept a larger FLS bungee for those with FLS standard safetys.

Hey John!

I still haven't had any trouble with the FLS but I am interested in upgrading the bars on both my Pulse 2s. If my Sabre sells, I'll be shipping my kites to you soon. Can you have them finished and back to me before February 16? (I'm going to Cali for 8 days Tahoe and then San Fran for the low tides! Woo-hoo!)

I've seen the first prototype powerzone is talking about and it is very nice! the double depower line setup with a swivel allows you to keep your center lines tangle free

well, that bit i can understand. i like the idea of the swivel. the chicken loop remains the same though right? it is our old? not like the newer ozone chicken loop.
when are the pics coming?

yes you would keep your standard FS chicken loop.... this is an UPGRADE remember, not a stand-alone new product.

I'm pretty sure you would need some kind of a pulley on the chickenloop in order to have a double depower line above the bar cam cleat setup.

btw i have a naish smartloop bar with a below the bar cam cleat on my 12m phantom and I really really dislike it. I've been strongly considering converting it to an above the bar double pull trimmer.

Dennis / Buzz :

do you still want a 75m version of our Bar for your SA?

Tridude:

we can make your bar and long cam-cleat thing, although the cleat would need to swivel also, so it would make the CH swivel part much longer and bulky...

PZ!

What's the turnaround on your new bar set-up? Do you have the real Infinity bars in stock? If so, how long would it take to upgrade a fifth-line safety and new bars for a Pulse 2 8 mtr and 12 mtr?

Greg:

"real" bars are $250 and don't work with FLS. Our version takes several hours of Machining and so would each FDS kit. thats afew days work ... doesn't look like enough time between now and your trip.... we would hate to delay you and mess it up. better do it afterwards.

Denis:

no problem... talk to you in March.
