You can go to the Nabx site if you want more info. I'm not sure about conditions right now,but last year was my first time on a lake bed and it was a
dream come true! If you get a chance to go you should not be dissapointed.

Come on down, the lake's fine! LOL
Lake bed is excellent. There has been a little water over the last few weeks and last time I was out there were some small spots that had a little
moisture in them, only the ruts, so you would stay away from those but those should all be dry by now.
Wind has been coming up with some pretty awesome days the last couple weeks. Looking good!
As always, don't drive in the ruts on the old road area, try to mix up your paths going on and off the lake bed. If there is any moisture pockets at
all stay away from them - although there shouldn't be any now. This helps minimize any impact on the lake bed. Pack out what you pack in!
Don't forget your permits!
I am planning on heading out this weekend if your in the area.

Sound good Kent, I'll be down on saturday and may camp thru sunday if it looks good. Bladerunner, I don't see a problem with the dates you are
heading down but I will have to see when it gets a bit closer.

I rode Ivanpah yesterday for a while until I got my butt handed to me by my 2.1 Little Devil. We got there around 12:00 and set up and started riding
on our 4.9 NPW's until that got to be too much so I switched to the Little Devil and rode till it picked up to the point that i couldn't hold on. I
had it yanked out of my hands twice and had to chase it down and after fixing all the tangles for the second time I gave up and sat in athe Jeep
drinking beer with my buddy Jake. This was Jake's first time on the Playa and he is moving to Nashville in two weeks to develop his music carrer but
after a few hours on the lake he swears he will be flying out to ride on a regular basis.

I didn't make it out this last weekend, family kept me indoors. Anyways, we got a
bunch of rain over the weekend and I haven't had a report from anyone on the surface of the lake bed. Not to worry at all about NABX but the bed may
be a little wet this upcoming week. Hopefully it will be dry enough to ride this next weekend.

I am in the process of getting my permit.
Elaine says the rain on the weekend was heavy and it's wet again. She also warned me that it can look dry but be soft just below.
