Superman Kiting

I never thought I would see it happen, but I saw Superman fly by me today and do a faceplant straight in the dirt. Arms out straight, face straight down. Laughter ensuing from her mouth.

Yes, my sister in law wanted to fly my Brooza 2m and I gave her some brief instructions telling her if it got too much to just let go. She did fine for a few minutes, then swooped it through the power band and she went from 2 feet behind me to 5 feet in front of me, horizontally the entire time. After skidding in the dirt nose first, then she let go. I couldn't get her to stop laughing.

She got up, I untwisted the bow tie, then she took off again. That session turned into a pinwheel spin and she bowed out at that point. I think she is hooked. LOL

Glad to hear she wasn't hurt. Must have been pretty stout winds to carry her like that on a 2m.

yeah, same, glad to hear she wasn't hurt -- and that must have been quite the wind! great to hear she was laughing through the whole experience... :bigok:

be careful, you'll feel pretty bad if you put a family member in the hospital. don't forget the risk management aspect of things, eh? :frog:

fixed bridles, flying static, been two years now... ??? folks must be wondering....

So much for safety systems.

My ex did a superman one time as well. It was pretty horrifying cause she went more like 20-30' but landed in the water which was super cold!
