should go pretty low with smooth wind, not so high AoA, big vents, and fat profile, I would have thought 5 mph would be enough to keep it in the air
with a tiny wind window, but that's static flying only, just getting something up and having a play because that's all the wind has to offer. But
definitely wouldn't start getting good pull for the buggy until the 8 - 10 mph you mention, I reckon. I have the two smallest legends, the 2 and the
3 btw.
i've found the aces to be the best in low wind, esp. if they are slighty depowered and the tips extended a few cm, I've actually considered getting
another ace, optimizing that for high wind, and then making my current 5m my light wind play kite with 150#/50# lines and depowered just a little bit
more.
if you're looking for the kite to get you moving in low winds, your 6.0 would do the trick, esp. slightly depowered and tips extended. you can also
make it more stable by adding a linkline, if stability is an issue. The 8m would answer, but it turns significantly slower, might do with pulley
handles, but then stability might start to be a problem while turning in ultra-low barely flyable wind.
