Always wanted to get up in the Chetwyn area of British Columbia. The word Chetwyn is a Native Cree word meaning place of big wind.
I was in that area in my younger years and remember there always seemed to be a wind. The area is also know for it amazing huge dumps of fresh powder snow, records of over 6 feet in twenty four hours. Oh darn, and I have to work....lol

WOW!!! i'd love to go to the yukon and alaska-its always been a dream of mine:singing:an old friend used to drive up to alaska by motorcycle with a bunch of guys,and he told me he stopped in some bar in whitehorse maybe?or yellowknife?.......anyways he said they had some thing where you paid like 7bucks and they give you a shot with some old hikers big toe in it and if you drink it--they gave you some card that said you did it--he said you had to swish the nasty big toe around your mouth for it to count haha:oi think the place might have been called big toe saloon.....legend has it that the old hiker got frostbite while hiking and the cut the old thing off.......ever hear of the place???

You bet, there are lots of strange things in the North another bar serves you Ever clear 190 proof alcohol they cal it getting Hyderized IE Hyder Alaska...lol

line me up a few shots--im flying my blade 4.0 tomorrow--im gonna need em!!:P i just looked on the net and the place is in dawson city and its called sourdough saloon......they said someone swallowed the original toe when he fell off his bar stool ,hit his head, and swallowed it hahahaha.....still another person got so drunk, he chewed up the toe and spit it out !! gross,but still hilarious hahahahahah:tumble:
