are you going to kitestorm or riding nahant. I'm taking tomorrow off and if you are riding I may try to join you. Give me a call if you are heading out. Winds are supposed to be real strong.

I'm actually staying at a friends house tonght, and heading to Canada on Sunday. But was looking at riding saturday... maybe. You guys still looking at going to nahant tomorrow? It is a 2hr drive from where I am staying... might be worth looking into... I'd go up to Kitestorm, but that is a 3hr drive.. and I cannot really warrant that after driving 7 hrs to get here this morning, and then looking at another 7hr drive Sunday... just doesnt make sense...

I was riding today but didn't go to Nahant - winds way to strong for boarding so I went kite skiing locally instead. I have no plans to ride tomorrow but hopefully you'll get out. There was still over 8" of ice on the lake I rode today so it should be good out in Springfield too if there is any snow cover left.

I didnt see much snow around here when I drove in, where would you suggest going in Springfield? I'm not familiar with the area...

I'm not familiar with springfield at all but I'd just scope out any local lake. As long as the ice isn't smooth as glass (and its likely not given the melting / freezing cycles we've been through, you should be able to hold edge enough on skis (don't know about a board as I don't ride one)

Snow is better but ice is doable depending upon how smooth the surface is.

yeah, not quite what i was looking for. I dont ride skis, so riding on ice is not my thing. I was hoping more for a good spot to buggy, but thats okay. I appreciate yer time.
