winds were about 10-15 today,so i took the blade out (first time ever) not as frightening as i thought, but i def have a healthy respect for what this
can do.......i practiced a few little bunny hops, just to kind of ease into jum ping and when i had it at the zenith,it almost lifted me when a small
gust came!i cant wait for that!!!all in all,a good day of kiting:wee:

First time out with the blade, I thought the same thing... "Oh, thats not so bad!"... I dont think I finished the thought before I was eight feet up
in the air... Sreamed like a dying man in front of an elementary school field trip:embarrased:

that kite will def loft you and bring you down fast, i weigh the same (175-180) i usually wont jump that small a kite on anything but sand cause the
landings can be so hard. a steady wind will make all the diff in the world jumping that kite and landing with some degree of control

Agree with windsurfslice, I weigh the same (175 - 180), there will come the time when your respect for the kite will be turned into sheer Panic and
Fear - it's a true adrenaline rush, but the kind that takes a while to catch your breath from. This is definitely a kite for clean winds (up to 24mph
- any more and you WILL regret it). Be careful and enjoy.
Wearing a helmet when static flying this kite would be a good idea.
we all believe is called the expansion

yes, thank you......i took it out fer a spin today winds about 10 and i had a safe fly--once,though i had it at the zenith and it started to pick me up
slowly, thank God....but it kind of freaked me out and i let go after just a couple inches........what a wimp, huh? i was able to get some cool jumps by
dipping the kite down into the power zone and then up to the zenith......i think 20mph will probably be my limit with this kite....also, flying these
power kites has been tremendous cardio workout and so much fun......hell,the other day,my upper back was so sore from flying,i had to skip my deadlift
workout......:wee: and YES,i NEED to get a helmet PRONTO
