search

i tell you whats confusing you post a few threads then reply to a few then you forget which ones then you spend hours serching for your original postings to see if there is a reply.
is there a way to search for any posts youve made to make it easier to keep tabs on them. if not it would be cool.
top forum though keep it up:spin:

There are a couple ways. I suggest going to the Member List page (link at top of each page) and do a search for your name - search form at bottom. When your name appears in the results, click it and then scroll to the bottom of the resulting page. You'll see the phrase "Search for all posts by this user ". Click this and you'll see a list of your threads.

You may also subscribe to threads. This function keeps a list of specified topics you want to follow in your member control panel. In fact, I see there are functions for "Subscriptions" and "Favourites". Try them out and see which one works best for you. The links are located at the top-left of each thread page (Printable Version | Send to Friend | Subscribe | Add to Favourites). I'm not really sure what the difference is between subscriptions and favourites, so if you find out, please let us know.

Alternatively, you could check the "Receive e-mail notification of new replies?" box when you post a thread. The forum will email you automatically each time someone posts a response.

Lastly, you could just do a quick search from the Search page (link at top of each page right of Member List link), but I think this will provide more results than you want.

Hope this info helps and thanks for the comments!

Favourites is a list of threads that you add to and access from your Control Panel/ Options.

Subscriptions will send you an email when someone replies to a thread you have subscribed to. There may be more than one reply, but you won't get additional emails from that thread until you go to the forum and read the current ones.

This was a good question as I hadn't noticed these features before, though I've used them with other forums. Thanks dnash.
