Yeah that is really cool!!! ps... guess who's going to some big dunes this weekend!!! WOOO! :P It should be fun! I'm going to bruneau sand dunes....
Bringing the venom, we'll see what kinda jumps/boarding i can get in. NOTHING like that though! That was the big bird flysurfer speed!!!!

The thing I liked most about the first one was a guy just doing a little pop in decent winds and then floating around some small dunes, not jumping
off a cliff - yes that second one is impressive, but the first one is something that a sane person could try.

They are both essentially ridge soaring. The first guy is having some fun on soft and modest dunes, but the second guy is in line for a Darwin award.
there is a reason that they make paragliders and hang gliders and a reason they are different form kites.
