just what the kiting community needs--another idiot to get us banned in even more places  i say:fly safe,have some fun,push the envelope a bit.....but this is just plain stupid and tempting fate.......what if he got hurt
really bad--then what? lots of negative media coverage and all for some dummy probably trying to impress some friends......i hope this guy is a pro
for his sake barbed wire slicing thru skin sounds awfully painful to me.......:shocked2:

There are people I would second guess but Alex Peterson is NOT one of them !
This fellow has taken kiting to levels I didn't think possible.
If you think he was crazy trying that, I could fill this page with his stunts !
I've always liked this one + many of him on snow. Search him out on youtube!

Alex is a calculated risk taker. He goes about it right. Paragliding at pro level before trying these stunts.

im glad to hear the guys a pro,because it certainly is DANGEROUS......sorry to vent--i love flying kites and dont want to see this great sport come

Hey,
Don't worry about venting ! MANY of the things I have seen Alex do look beyond stupid. This is another example.
At the same time as thinking he is totally nuts I see him taking this sport to new levels.
I'm pretty sure he was one of the 1st pulling of kite loops?
If I hadn't recognized Alex I would have thought it was some pee brained farmer as well. My mistake was thinking everyone recognizes him by now.
