spring has sprung

After the first days of spring a nice cold snap came in and gave a couple of weeks of extra ice time. Great day yesterday, just over 49mph with a 3.1m U-Turn Nitro Evo II.
A friend arrived just as I was packing up, the wind had dropped - got a nice photo of him on the ice with a 4.5m Profoil. The seagulls flying past were an indicator that the ice won't be around much longer.

Old school straight skis. The surface was almost perfect, hardly any snow and the surface of the ice was soft enough for grip and hard enough for great glide.
