What bar to use on a bomba 20
I found a cheap bomba 20 for sale kite only, First off any reviews or info on the kite would be great Wind range and such.
I need to know what bar to use, if there is a difference. I currently fly a naish boxer 15m, but will buy any bar that will work.
thanks

The bar I use with my 15m Phannie is a North bar probably for a C-kite. I adjusted all the leaders and depower line to match the specs on the chart
linked above. I then installed the ring safety, and it flew perfect on our first outing. I was really scared of doing all that stuff for a kite I
had never flown but it was a piece of cake. I can't wait to put some hours on her this coming week on the coast.

the bar you're thinking of is the north 5th element bar from 2007
it was the first north bar to use the famous Iron Heart push style safety (flysurfer took this system to the next level with the infinity bar).
sorry that thing wasn't ready to go for you bob when you got it. I'm glad you were able to get it up and running in your first session though

btw I've had really good luck with my 09 Naish SLE bar on my 12m Phantom. the ARC's can really fully utilize the longer depower throw bars.
I'd say for a 20m kite you're going to want to look for a really big bar. maybe 65cm or larger? check ebay for Airush bars. they have some pretty long
ones on there that are new and pretty affordable.

Bemer,
Did you just adjust the bar leaders or did you change anything on the kite?
