Rehoboth Beach Delaware April 7?

YO! Looking for partners in crime to meet up last minute at Rehoboth Beach Delaware on Tuesday April 7. I'll get there about 11:30 and have a pass for about 4 hours while my wife hits the outlets! Low tide at 12:52. I'll have 2 buggy's with me if anyone wants to borrow one. Not sure exactly where I'm going in but likely the main public area. Never been there before but thats where I'm told the easy parking is. I'll fly a big Yellow Flexifoil Flag on my truck as a homing beacon for anyone coming in. Hope someone can come and play. I may not check this forum again because I'm borrowing a computer to post this so just come out.

I get over that way once or twice every month or so - maybe I can be there!

I hope the the weather holds
"Tuesday: Cloudy and windy. A few sprinkles possible. High 52F. Winds W at 20 to 30 mph. "

There was rain predicted for the nearby Cape Henlopen Kite Fest this Fri. - but it's looking better now.

We had some seriously flaky wind on Rehoboth. The serious gusts dictated small kites but then died to almost 2-4 mph and I wound up dunking my kite 4 times so we flew static more than buggied or boarded. Still, though, it was good meeting you "Lad", and my brother-in-law got to learn 4 line on my kids 1.7 Sting. I always say "a bad day of kiting is sill way better than a great day at work!" I'll holla when I come up this way again. Anyone travelling near Aiken, Sc where I live, we have a great, huge, polo field we fly in. All are welcome.

Hey, it was fun meeting up and taking my first buggy near-ride!

I left my bigger Beamer and Montana in the car, and was only flying my small, jive Ballistic and NPWs. I was hesitant to display my modest gear and abilities around any committed Flexifoil guys!

But after I saw that everyone else's gear was getting dunked in the choppy offshores, I felt better! :tumble:

I was hoping to return there today for the DE Kite Fest at Cape Henlopen, but rain is predicted throughout the day and it closes at 4pm (and all that for an $8 out-of-state park fee to boot). Henlopen is mentioned on some of the kitesurfing maps, but the long beach is way too narrow for real traction kiting.
---------------
If he hasn't done so already, maybe "pokitetrash " should post a pic of his bada*$ custom dual- buggy hitch. ;)

Wished I had checked this before. I would have met you guys down there. I've been trying to find more kiters to fly with. Next time you guys are in town, shoot me a U2U or something and i'll see about coming down to fly.

Well, I'm in central MD, 2.5 hours from Rehoboth, Ocean City and Wildwood.

"leebrianh" is apparently in Newark, De and just posted here about the Wildwood Buggy Bash (May 8-10 - overlapping JIBE down in GA.)

I get to the shore at least twice a month - see if we can get any other people into the posse (the members listing here doesn't let you sort by state :-( )

I've got a couple friends I fly with locally and Ragden just hit me up and says he and his buddies hit DC and Wildwood on occasion. May not always be able to travel, but if something gets planned in advance and nothing else is happening, myself and at least one other can probably make it. Anytime somebody finds themselves in my neck of the woods just get in touch, i'm usually ready to fly whenever the weather is good. I'm planning on trying to make the Buggy Bash in Wildwood next month too, so hopefully i'll get to meet up with some of you guys.
