you guys who had a look/chance to see/fly the RII recently. does RII have have AoA adjustment? dirt outs (i think the RI have?). what should we unenlightened folk know about the RIIs:wink2:
and how do the RIIs compare to RIs.

sorry didnt get a chance to look at the bridle AOA, it will be similar to the R Is, the R II that i flew had a proto bridle on it. it will have less bridle lines than the R I, same options onto as well. no close up pics, because i was flying it all the time. ROFL.

i love the RIIs, super fast, super stable as you go faster, and less lifty --> more forward speed. im not just saying this because i'm PL sponsored now or that I did 108.2 Km on the RII 2.2m

if you like the R Is, upgrading to the R IIs is well worth it. Ill still keep the R Is in the smaller size or turn them into dessert only kites.

Neither R I nor R II's have adjustable AoA- no need for it; one setting: fast

R II's have thinner bridles and fewer of them. This is done by adding D ribs internally to support the sail shape where the bridles were removed. All in all, much less drag.

On the R II's, the large knots on the attachment toggles that acted like grappling hooks to snag lines are gone and replaced by slender knots with no loose ends. Result: fewer (or no) snags.

R I's and R II's have dirt-outs

R II's have newer sportier graphics.

Due out in June, I believe.
