ATB jumping
I have been flying my 7.5m Frenzy with my snowboard and mountainboard for awhile now. I was wondering the best way to jump and if a 7.5m is big enough
to get some descent jumps. I'm about 150lbs. Thanks

I am not familar with the Frenzy, Although I would love to be :sniff: I weigh 145lbs so we are about the same. I started learning ATB with my 7m
Montana.....Did that for about a year and I just wanted more power. You can Def jump with that 7.5m (depending on the wind of course) All the pics
with my on my ATB are with my 7m Montana I think winds were prob 12-15mph that day. The 1 thing i did notice since i have upgraded to a 9.5m is that
i have to work the kite alot less to get some nice floaty jumps. I am still new to all this too. Been only on the board for about 1 year and half.
As for jumping.. Once i get moving and find the sweet spot i just send the kite to 12'o clock and I feel the Pull on my harness and "Pull" my bar in
and i am off. Redirect, and right before landing pull the bar in........on my 7m Montana that last stop never really worked...maybe i needed more
wind....maybe cause the sail is smaller. Usually had some hard landings. Almost like just falling out of the sky..but Controlled.
I don't feel that at all with my 9.5m ....I am pretty happy with my 9.5m and think anything bigger IMO for me would be too dangerous.
I'm sure anyone with more experience on Frenzy's would be more of help though with the kite's exact flying abilities

I like the pics! Looks like a cool place to fly too! From what I have read, the Frenzy and Montana are pretty similar so I would imagine your advice
being fairly accurate. I'll give that a try next time I go out. Hope all goes well and my attempts at jumping now have been very small so I'm excited
to get going up!

7.5m needs at least 18 knots to get interesting and 20+kn. to get some decent air, and because its not that big a kite it could be a bit too fast to
do your first jumps with, IŽd say find something bigger which will allow you to go out in less wind, bigger kites are usually more easy going so you
can concentrate on your riding, jumping and more important your landings :D.
the 7.5 frenzy is an awesome kite in the higher windrange but it can get a bit agressive.
to get some air edge your board away from the kite to build up power, send the kite back, power up and off you go.
dgkid, spot looks awesome, you the only one flyin there?
Beaches here are mostly crowded on the good days.

i cant add to the advice that has been given as both guys have got it covered. just do as they said and you will be popping huge air in no time.
