and I know you will be the first to PRE-order ;-)

so if the proto pics are out yet, the august target is probably reasonable

That's a sweet looking kite. Too bad I just got my SA 19. I'm sure I paid much less than what a new one of those will be though.

Um. I wish it was summer. Then I would be flying more consistent winds and not chasing storms.

Sweet video! I like the red much better than the delux colors. That is the first video I have seen of the race board in action. that looks a helll of a lot easier than my race board.....and you can jump...and you don't have to tack with a transition across the board.

How is it downwind? I assume you pull the center board up. It would be a lot of work with that big kite.

You gotta meddle with the center board dagger fin thing, I hear. I'd rather just have the 2011 Flydoor XL ;)

Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

The Flyrace is Mind Blowing.... When you get good at it... takes time, it's like a drug. The angles are crazy!!
We go place we've never gone before...

Not a beginer board but downwind is fine and can be fast and you learn all kinds of trick to make it work. Like learning all over again... I can see the difference between the guys by how many hours they've been on it. Experience...

I love my GLider 164x50 too:

Overall the Flyrace is way more than a raceboard. We don't even race with it. We use it for upwind and super lightwinds!
Like in that vid. I wouldn't be able to stay upwind on any other twin tip... that would not have been a riding day.
Hooked all over again. Like the first time I got my Speed 2 19m. Used to hate summers with my dropping LEI's.

The FLyrace is harder to ride than a Big twin tip to start but way easier than a directional race with big fins....
sine you can adjust the fins...

I'll have a more powered vid to come for some more fun...
Just having some Custom bags made for it too...

The other cool thing... even when windier you can get on tiny kites... even had fun on a 7m with it.
But with the SP3 12m is my favorite...

I did had some options to it to make it rock for Jumping!!
