Saying hi and a few questions
Found this forum on google and decided to give it a try :wink2:
About me:
31 year old kiter living in the netherlands. Ive been kiting for about 4 years now. Decided to start again after a long one year break. Went out
yesterday to have a go with me frenzy. All went well except for one thing: The kite kept flying over me ( Luffing ? ) I know i should shorten my break
lines a bit. But i kinda forgot how and where. How to shorten my break lines and wich knot to use ? Feel like a complete newbie again. Could anyone
give me some directions how to get this fixed ?
Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum!! (Edit) duh... totally forgot the frenzy is a de-power. I don't know squat about them, but the people on this forum are very
friendly and will be able to help you with your question.

Welcome to the forum...
With the Frenzy most any depower you can extend the lines in the center and/or shorten the lines on the end of the bars...
Now that being said, and me unsure that you had the lines in the right place... the lines on the outside of the bar should go to the trailing edge of
the kite (breaks) and the center lines should go to the front bridals (powers) then when adjusted right you'll be able to make your fine tuning
adjustments on the trimmer strap which should be on your center lines within arms reach, when you pull it in it should create less power and when you
let it out it should power up...
Sorry if this was too much information...
good luck and welcome back to the sport, glad to have you... This forum is full of fantastic members with all kinds of help... one big family!!!

The trick is to slow the kites speed down before it hits the edge. Pull in on the bar some before it hits the ege to hold it back. ( not too much )
What kind of wind and what size Frenzy ?
Play with the trim strap before changing knots.

Its a 14m frenzy. The wind was about Bft 3-4. Pulling the bar down, is not helping at all. It keeps flying over me. The trim strap is not responding
at all, i get more bar pressure but it wont stop the kite from flying over me. So i really think its the break lines.
