I just realized that I've got more money tied up in kites, kiteboards, and kiteboarding lessons than I do in my jet ski/trailer. What's up with that? I've really got to see a doctor about this sickness I've aquired. I've heard there's no cure but maybe I could get a script for the pain.

At least they don't require gas or biannual registration.

Well, the jet ski does get me out when the 19 won't...the ultimate low wind engine if you will.

I don't use the 8 that often but it definitely fills a spot in my quiver. It's a sweet kite although I have to get used to it every time I take it out...fast little sucker.

how much do you use the speed 2 15m? I've often wondered about those. I hear the 12m is amazing and the 15m SA is amazing but the regular Speed2 15m is it comparable to the SA version?

I got pretty good deals on the kites so I'm under 6 if you don't count the boards. LOL.

The 15 doesn't fly as good as my 19 but I need to do a mixer test on it...I'm thinking/hoping that'll clear things up. It was my favorite kite until I got the 19 so that should at least say something. I've never flown a 15 in SA fabric nor a 19 in regular fabric, but I can say this...the other day I was using the 19 and botched a transition which resulted in the kite flying past the edge of the window with way too much slack in the lines. The 19 just chilled out up in the air until I could get situated.. The wind was nice and steady which helped but the 15 would've never done that...probably would've ended up with a bow tie.

I'm waiting on the S3 to come out. If it'll let you fly towards it better than the current versions do and will turn better while depowered then I may ditch my middle two kites for one in 12m. Not before a test ride though. Lucky for me Ted B and I kite the same beach.
