Sunset Beach Landboarding[pics]

I just got back from a long weekend at sunset beach! I did exactly as I had hoped: push my skills to the next level! WOOHOO! Here's some pics that my wife took, what weird weather that was there...

That's my wallpaper right now :D

Nice pics. Tried my 16m scorp today. Got it inflated about 80% in 3 knots and 15 feet in the air and 4 hours of wasted time on the beach.

Well you know what they say, "A bad day of kiting is better then a good day at work"

hey deadon-- thanks bro, bummer@3 knots LOL. "a bad day of kiting is better than a good day at work" i've found only applies sometimes... :P . Oddly enough i've gotten so frustrated sometimes i'd wish i hadn't wasted the time and shoulda just stayed at work instead of getting off early lol. You'll have your chance soon, sooner than i will with sunset so close to u! lol . it looks like i came and stole your wind ;D

@ csa_deadon ... did you add some extension on the brake line? the way i sent it had too much brake tension - even with the trim strap pulled in 100%, but i just tied another knot about 1.5 inches on the top bridle to get it going for that one flight, I untied it when i shipped it.

@ forgiven ... NICE PICS. you're rockin the big air. i find that with the right gear everything comes into place. the Scorpion 16m seems like the ulimate size, its big but still fast turning. super floaty too, with a lot of lift.

Nope!!! didn't do that. All I did was to pull up the NDBC web site saw west wind building, and then lost all rational thought. Grabbed buggy, scorp, coffee and headed out. Will have to add extension.
