My name is Avi (I'm from Israel) and I live in Chicago for 3 years now. Since I saw a kite fair on Motrose beach, I got hooked up on a power kites.
Soon I'll get my brand new Peter Lynn Twister 4.1, and I can't wait to start flying it :singing:

Hi Avi... I just had a kitesurfing lesson at Marquette beach. I'm probably going to pick up a 12 meter kite. It'd be great to meet up with other beginners and try to shorten the learning curve. Where are you going and how often?

Hi Mike,
That sounds grate, but I think we live way too far from one another. I live in Chicago area, and I'm going flying the kite about 3-4 times a week (mainly in the weekends and some Mondays), and I'm flying it on Montrose beach, a bit North of Chicago (like 3 minutes). I really wish we could have meet, that could be a wonderful opportunity for both of us.
FYI - I got my very first "kiss" by my kite :-) , it gave me a strong pull yesterday and left a nice "tattoo" on my body.

Hello I would love to hook up, me and my cousin have both started doing this and also looking to fly with others. We usually fly in Busse Woods, Schaumburg.
