"static" kite flying
I keep seeing references to "static" flying here in the forums. I assume that would mean flying from a fixed spot vs from a moving platform (board,
buggy) but when I googled the term I came up with pictures of landboarders in the air. I'm confused.

Google breaks up search phrases to stop "Google bombs" I believe.
so when you search "static kite flying" you get results for "static" "kite" "flying" and any combo there-of
But thats just a slightly educated guess.
your right btw
