2012 Spleene X19 .......... $600
$600 + shipping
RTF Complete 19m closed cell de-power kite ....
This was my light wind engine for few years and got me to ride in those almost no wind conditions many times .... on snow, water and sand ......
Low end is much better then my new 18m Speed4 but with top end coming quick because is got less de-power ... I get many high jumps with it on water ,
but it requires practicing unique technique just for that kite .... Many people say that it is very similar to Speed2 series with raw power delivery
and a bit slow turning ..... Apparent wind builds up quickly , way quicker then my 18m S4....... 5th line safety is useful when u get overpowered
and need quick landing ...
Kite its been used a lot but still works fine and its been used only 3 times since last tune up by PowerZone , also 5th line and de-power rope was
replaced .... There is 2 repairs ... one small sail tape patch and one professional repair about 3"x3" that I can't locate .... Bag is included but
is in poor shape

Out of curiosity what's the minimum wind needed to get that thing self inflated and staying in the air?

Hi Volock,
I also have one of those X19s.
I need about a /steady/ 4 knots to fly it, and can already land board with it.
From a steady 6 you I can Hydrofoil with it.
Best value for what they are: low wind magic.
/Mine is not for sale, and do not know Kober./

I don't have one to sell, but I do know Kober, and can vouch for him, and the kite. Deal with confidence.
Go ahead... tell me to "go fly a kite!" Please!

Thanks to both of you. I've seen enough from Kober, the accuracy/condition of the kite was never in question. More the debate of whether this would
work well for a light wind kite for me or not, given local conditions (and whether it's worth putting the money into a lightwind kite right now).

..... It will fly in 4mph wind if you keep moving it .... intakes have plastic rib reinforcement so it keeps it open for easy inflation .... in
4knots as gabor mention you will be able to start moving on snow , or buggy ...... and about 6knots will start moving you on water .....
Here are few videos I made with this kite :

and here is one from above by Ron ....

Finally,
These amazing " day savers " are becoming used kites for the wind deprived kite pilots on a budget!
I am glade Gabor added His experience. At the time He bought His X-19 I was shopping and could only afford my SA-19. These kites retailed at around
$2000 +?? His bottom end sounds similar to what I am getting but I didn't know what you need on water and I am much lighter.
In my personal quest to ride in 5kt winds these big, light depower kites are ideal but they need some room to run and build on their apparent wind. I
can now get out riding with the folks who are running 16m race kites. Being small and having a light buggy huge FB kites overpowered me as soon as
they developed apparent wind. The depower in my Flysurfer makes it possible to handle that apparent wind and ( for my style ) make the most of it. I
understand that the X-19 was a step above in performance for that generation.
These big kites take a little adjustment in flying technique but they are " gentle giants " in low steady ( NOT gusty ) winds. Not near as
intimidating once you are flying one than they look as they pass by. Those folks who are looking for affordable ultra low wind depower kites can now
start buying!
Kites: 2.5m Profoil , Quadrifoil XL kitesurfer, NPW 5 Danger.
Flexifoil: 1.7m Sting, 4.9m Blade 3, 9m Blade 2.
Flysurfer : 19m Speed 2 SA, 7m Pulse
Peter Lynn :18m Phantom, 15m Synergy, 10m Synergy, 1200 Farc, 460 Sarc, 130 Tarc, 5m Peel, 4.2m , 6.4, 8.5 C-Quads, 3.5 LS2 single skin.
Rides: Flexi / P.L. Frankin'Buggy , Shaped + straight skiis, sand skis, Coyote blades. Core 95 ATB. RKB R2 ATB .

Still here .....
Ken ..... Yep ... $2699 new ..... It was my session saver for a while .... snow, water or buggy ... did good .... Apparent wind builds up
quickly in stronger winds , you need to make sure to slow down before going out of control .... Light winds are easy after understanding how this
kite works ... Jim got same kite .... still using it ....
