Ok we made it home.
What a great weekend. I got to show a few people how to do a proper OBE. and get up smiling! It turne out the Rat Buggy was a bit to heavy for the sand. But the new PL worked great.
Thanks to every one who helped the kiddo strieghten out his lines and briddles. He had a blast as well.
And thanks to every one for making us all feel welcome. And to Todd for a great gathering Saturday night with the best door prizes.

Left WW around 4:30 pm, Sunday. In the morning I got to play with the Speed2 19m, just static flying... great workout. At about noon the wind started
to shift direction every 5-10 minutes: on shore - off shore. It did that for more than an hour Very frustrating. At some moment there were two kites
in the air, one flying on on-shore wind and the other off-shore... really weird. Around 3:00p.m. the wind got steadier off-shore and we started to
buggy... for me it was a short session. At the time I left, there were 3 guys still buggying and 2-3 kites on the ground.
Great weekend. Nice to meet everybody. Hope we'll see each other again in the fall.

What a great time.
First off I'd like to thank our sponsors Don Swords of Power Kite Place and Chris of HQ Kites. Also a big thanks to all that donated goods towards the
door prize event on Saturday night. It was good to see so many people show for up for the event, it can only grow from here.
I have a bunch of video footage to weed through so I'll start on that soon. Anyone having vintage footage of events past please U2U me and if you
could mail them to me... I'll pick up the postage. To all sharing video and pictures, THANK YOU!! Especially Rian :P To all helping me with my project
THANK YOU!! Let's cross our fingers.

Still wearing a perm-a-grin after the epic Saturday weather. Feel like I buggied my face off. What a great time with so many cool people enjoying the
wind. A few pictures from the event:

A special shout out to Todd for organizing door prizes and helping to feed our faces. Thank you! And Don - thank you for the hospitality. You are the
'godfather' of this event!
Cheers,

Wow, that was a great weekend. Thank you so much to everyone for the awesome hospitality. I can get painfully shy at times but it was great to meet
so many new people, and I think I about quadrupled my kite knowledge in just two days. And a very special thank you to everyone who felt confident
enough to let me try a buggy even though I subsequently got in everyone else's way and then rolled it over Now just to practice everything I learned over the summer get ready for fall. Can't wait to try again in October...

After looking at the photos I now know why my back hurts so much.
Thanks for a great weekend. From helping me get my board together to Dean being so gracious to give me a place to sleep, it was a great experience.

What a weekend! I don't know how fast, or how many miles, but I don't really care. I know I went about as fast as I wanted to, and covered more
miles in the 3 days I rode, than I've ever done before. The icing on the cake was the magical time on Sunday evening, when it was just Don, Joe, Lad,
and I riding, and the wind went from blowing out to sea, to blowing onshore, and we had the beach pretty much to ourselves. Got the best ride of the
weekend then. Big thank you to Don for being a great sponsor and friend, Chris from HQ, for bringing the demo's, and being a great guy, Todd for
being a great organizer and cook, and everyone that attended for making the weekend one to remember. I am trying to get a link to my photo's, when I
figure it out, I'll post them.

No, those pictures are from my Canon digital camera. I've got video clips from the same camera and some footage from a V.I.O. POV 1.5 helmet cam. It's
