I just talked to somebody I work with that lives up in Baltimore and it sounds like they got more snow than around DC. Something like 3 inches... he said he spent 45 minutes shoveling this morning.

That doesnt bode well... 3 inches is not enough for me to pull out my board, yet probably too much for the buggy. That and temperatures are not going to be warm enough to melt it... Bugger. Whatever, lets give it a shot. Worst case scenario, we just go out and fly some arcs, and do some static flying...

Since its mostly dry powder I think a lot of it will blow off today. Leaving the field mostly rideable

Arc launching seminar? Sounds good to me. It seems like that's one of the biggest problems with them until you learn the little tricks.

I'd be curious to see it, not that I really fly arcs at all, just curious.
Of course, if conditions are rideable, i'll probably be too busy putting in miles on my buggy... We'll see... I'll try to be on the field by 1000hrs. All depends on what time I wake up tomorrow...

I just went out landboarding during my lunch break in an inch or so of snow and it didn't seem that bad. I'm still learning and I was going pretty much downwind with no sharp turns but it was actually a pretty good session for me. One of the better ones I've had.

Are you going to make it to the field tomorrow? This is starting to look pretty crowded.

I'd love to go out somewhere tomorrow but I doubt I'll have time to make it all the way up to Baltimore and back.
