I did fly one of them finally last Sunday :singing:
It felt like a toy to me, so maneuverable and easy to control. With its 20 m lines it was easily moved along the whole sky, and I was able to ride a buggy. I can totally feel the kite's potential power, but I really didn't wanna see it in full riding Erin's portable buggy (thanks Erin for lending it to me ;-) ).
Mine has fire colors red-orange-white.
I think Scudly flew Canucks colors - blue-green-white

Oh yes, this kite is a very sweet foil. Thanks for letting me try it out Solaris. I really liked how the kite handled itself even with the winds starting to drop off. It responds quickly but smoothly. Definitely has me wishing I had one in my kite bag - really liked the red, orange combo too!

Airin and Sean both ride buggy so I don't think anyone has paired the kite with a board yet.

I am willing to bet money this kite will go upwind. I want to see if it twitches back and forth with the gusts ALA Pansh Ace or if it cuts gusts ? Can't wait to find out.

I flew the blue / white / green Reflex 2m on Saturday. The wind was maybe 12 kts which was not really enough to assess its power performance. I did a couple laps in a borrowed buggy and was definitely underpowered, bear in mind that I am a about the same size as Tonya and Airin, combined.
Static performance of the kite was incredible: very fast, super control and surprisingly predictable for something so fast. I could fly this kite from windows edge to windows edge backwards, hold the kite in one spot for as long as you wanted. The kite can spin in no time. I was having a gas static flying it and flew it for about 90 minutes then had to go work on my car, thanks for the hand Ken.
I loved the colours of the kite I was flying. The through the white bottom the blue / white lightening bolt / green shone. It looked very much like our North Shore mountains: lush green at the bottom, snow capped peaks against a clear blue sky.
I did have this kite out last Monday at my local field. The wind at the airport was 17 kts gusting to 30. At my field this was amplified with by rotor off local obstructions that is not present at lower wind speeds.

WOW!!! Absolutely incredible!!!

Wind was gusting between 10-20km today and i just couldn't resist anymore...the h@ll with paperwork!

Layed out the lines, straightened out the kite from the bag...walked the lines and grabbed the handles...instantly aloft up to zenith! Well no time like the present i thought....hard left, yes hard enough to collapse the left out edge and man did it dive!!!! Quick flick of the wrists and 90 degrees to the deck [2 feet off the ground] accross the window as fast i could keep my eyes on it..quick flick and back up to zenith!

This thing flyes like a strunt kite!!! So lets do some tricks then...loops, figure 8's, boxes.....side slips, hover, reverse...geeze if i could figure out a way to crazy copter this i would sell my stunt kites! NOW don't kid yourself here folks, this is no kids kite or beginner kite..on full scream up through zenith this little monster drew enough lift to launch my 225lbs a** off the ground!!!WOOOHOOO FUN!!!!

I finaly found my high wind kite!! This is going to be a fun winter!!!

Awesome Tonka!
I am jealous of you flying and having so much fun (since it is been raining cats and dogs here) and proud of my kites at the same time!
Thanks for sharing!

Glad you like it, Tonka. I agree it is a pretty awesome little kite. Tonya, you should have come out; it was not raining at GP. (For those not familiar with Vancouver: The mountains make it so that in downtown Vancouver and the eastern suburbs it can be plssing down rain and still be clear and sunny in the SW at Steveston.
I was stunting with Dirtslide flying his Rev' on Sunday before taking it out in the buggy. It was pretty near as fast as the Rev. I can not think of any power kite that hovers as easily as this one. I think with a little practice I should be able to side slip this vertically.
tdmc had a go in his buggy switching down from his Reactor in between my flights. It is very fast when flying from the buggy. I had to milk it for power, but it had great pull when looped. It was a bit much for the Reactor(?m) (Ken did not want to put it down into the power), but not really enough for the 2m. It could have taken a lot more wind and still been very controllable. the wind at the airport was 10kts east and 15kts SE at Sandheads, so at GP probably around 12 kts.
To whomever it was who asked if there is enough difference in 2m kites to really make worth the extra $, my answer is HELL YES, every penny.

Bladerunner about the trees:
Garry Point has had additional trees planted: another row in front of the Japanese garden about ten feet into the field from the first row; and the little triangle west of the picnic table in the NE corner of the park. The real loss in flying space is Lake Goose Poo starting to fill. There are some very large puddles, ask Grant. I am not sure you can find a dry tack across the lake anymore, so pretty limited buggying and blading until it freezes or March.

there are lots of kites that hover, but why? its a buggy engine. static flying and kitebuggying are different.

Ken's RI 4.9 was perfect for running up and down the park, you need "kite" to tack upwind. a 2m requires like 30km or more to get going at speed. 3.1m U-Turn Nitro Evo II is best for highwind local riding. That's my favorite Kite.

Grant was overpowered (RII 6.9) and using a smooth BF Light Front Tire = no traction.

BR, the lake is in the center, we can go around it or we wait for SNOWKITING or the Future Riding Ground "Im buying kiting property for everyone" LOL. *check PKC*!!!

I don't think our park is the right place to have a 2 meter high aspect kite... (thinking beach)

When the wind is up high enough for a 2 it is the bumpiest swirly wind around. Think back when Dusty rides with the Sami 3 meter, she cruises through the lumps when others are having a kite snap shut after a gust/lull and direction change or other issues.

Here's some video from last Sunday.
It calmed down considerably by the time I got out.
