GEE, I thought you were all international pro power kiters and we just never met 'cause I ride blades :smug:

Electrician / Power Engineer.

I spent 17 years taking care of the Power Companies head office but we just lost that contract. I'm now taking care of strictly lighting in a set of towers and shopping mall close to home. Very low stress, union wages. I like being able to bike / blade to work + having time to fly in the afternoon so it fits but I still miss the last contract.

Kites: 2.5m Profoil , Quadrifoil XL kitesurfer, NPW 5 Danger.
Flexifoil: 1.7m Sting, 4.9m Blade 3, 9m Blade 2.
Flysurfer : 19m Speed 2 SA, 7m Pulse
Peter Lynn :18m Phantom, 15m Synergy, 10m Synergy, 1200 Farc, 460 Sarc, 130 Tarc, 5m Peel, 4.2m , 6.4, 8.5 C-Quads, 3.5 LS2 single skin.

Rides: Flexi / P.L. Frankin'Buggy , Shaped + straight skiis, sand skis, Coyote blades. Core 95 ATB. RKB R2 ATB .

currently, i do human pretty well,

they're gonna come get me, those bastard

but it's much better than last time ,, back in Rome 400 AD as a "P.E instructor" for the weekend entertainment group. you have no idea how hard it is to teach someone how to remove the head of an opponent while on horse back. i must say air conditioning certainly improves things as well.

Warehouse Manager at a construction supply business... Inventory, sales, small tool repair, you name it i do it all around here...

Its such a small gig, and so much is demanded of us, we only run four employees, but do the same business as some of our other stores that employ 30+ people... its a good job, even if it does get a little crazy from time to time..

Kind of a huge array of fields represented here...

Beamerbob... if your passion is in 3d modeling... which i can relate... I got really into CAD, and eventually the 3d stuff, look into video game designs... if you are slick with a few different programs, you could make a killing in a few of those areas... Just a thought, but i agree, once you break away from the CAD programs, some of that 3d design is such a blast!

live2hover: Flyboy and I are both in Piper Seminoles right now, but have flown Piper Warriors, Arrows and Cessna 172's. Flyboy has a lot of time in the 150 models as well.

The other 2 officers of the UND Club are Heli pilots, working on ratings through Army ROTC. They ride Schweizer 300's and a Jet Ranger now and then....they might chime in here and fill you in

Up until 3 months ago I worked at a foundry making molds, retouching waxes and pouring bronze. Now I collect a check from the state every 2 weeks and hope that things start to improve. I also have a teaching credential for High School art (sculpture), but High School art jobs in the state of California are a bit rare. Eventually I will be a teacher when I grow up.
