It's a cupholder. Instructions to make your own are on the CWS website! I think that's why he embraced depower so fully. It gives him a free hand.

Beer holder. OK for water bottles too.
Features DBR (Dynamic Beverage Retention) technology in the form of shock cord to keep the bottle in when hitting a bump.
The holder is fashioned from the bottom of a shampoo bottle that is stiff enough for the job but soft enough to deform and not take out the family
jewels in a wreck.
