pnw-what is the difference between the exp and your sle? i flew my exp today, since im waiting on a new bridle for my shockwave, and the exp flies just perfect--even pulled me around a bit--so im curious as to the differences......

Yeah, wow... I admit that I am to blame. I went on a business trip and then never got back. My wife is telling me that 4 kites are enough until after we sell our house and move... not sure when THAT will be. :sniff:

As far as I can tell, the EXP has smaller spars and I believe it is a longer or wider kite as well.

The SLE however has much thicker,bullet proof spars that make it ideal for beginners to learn on.

The EXP I own seems a little dainty and fragile.

Hey PNW, I've always admired the rev's, but have heard they are 'difficult', but have never tried one. I do love static flying, though, and am interested, so I checked out a video, turned out to be a 10 year old flying a 1.5 SLE, and he was rocking it. Made me more interested. U2U to you.

I had a red and black SLE also. But I am a color freak and sold mine and bought the same kite in red, white, & blue.
So I now have 4 r,w,&b revs. (selling a Blast)
I fly with John B. from time to time and he makes it look easy. ( if you have not watched Iquad videos yet, you should.)
At some kite fests, Ben from Rev is there and lets people try a kite out.
But with another Rev flyer helping, the basics come easier.
If you have an interest, You can buy a SLEs and then get the 1'4 le spars later.
