No, I go to the Wildwood buggy bash in NJ, trying to make JIBE . Maybe....... It's a great time though, and I'm sure the DBBB is the same. You get a bunch of kiters together and there is gonna be some fun!

That sounds neat. I almost never get to fly with anyone else. There isn't a person for 20 miles of here that knows of kites with more than one line. Much less what traction kiting and ATBing/buggying is.

I've never been in a buggy. It must be pretty fun!

But as for the purpus of this thread... I for some reason picked up a couple of Pansh Ace 5M last year. I took out the one that had been flown and set it all up in a steady 10mph. Oh what fun I had. It would fly right up to about eye level and then go all freaked out and came crashing back down. I adjusted every thing up, down, in, out and all around. WOW did I say some words. My grand kids would have told on me for sure!!

Well....We'll just have to encourage you to get to an event. Hell, your in TX...go to that Dead Bird event (see events). I was asking about Dallas because I may be there soon on company business and need some kiting locations/people who like to fly.

Y'know, I'm at the stage now where I'm not collapsing the kites that bad, and if I do, it's not too hard to untangle at all ... even on the Speed2 and I've had some good 'uns on that. I reckon that F.B's make you a better kiter. Unlike the LEI riders here who are just nightmares!

I love to fly my PL Twister II, it's my favoritest foil kite :D

It's definitely an experience, that's for sure...

I do think that learning on a FB makes you a better kiter... teaches you the basics and really makes you respect the power of the wind. I've had butt kicked time and time again by the little 4.1m. It's honestly more fun to fly than a depowerable!
