WOOOOHOOO!!:wee: I am lovin this Buster 3.3!
We had great wind on sunday, so I went out to chambers and spent a long time in the air, I am happy that I chose the 3.3 as my 1st kite. I know now I
can handle it in the 10mph+ winds static. Though it is a workout! Wind started light at 1st, 5mph off and on, then it came on solid @5mph gusts to
8. After a Few more min it was sustaining 10 with some gusts to?? Those are ground level readings, may have been a hair higher above, but I was
unobstructed to water where the wind was coming from so probably not much higher. I spent at least an hour with the kite in the air, divided between
3-4 long sessions with breaks between to get the feeling in my arms and hands back. This kite pulled like a freight train once the wind came up!
I posted a review of the kite. I have not seen one on this new version yet and figured a new flier review would help other new fliers..

Thanks Jeff!
Now the next question, it took almost a week for me to get the sustained 5+mph needed for this 3.3 to fly reliably and it only lasted 2 days, now gone
again. Based on the days I was there the wind often cycles in the 3-5mph range most days. What would be a good recommendation for a kite to fly in
that range or overlap a bit but fly under 5mph consistently?
I have been considering something that is water launchable still, looking at history for the area I would be in the water I see similar 3-5mph wind.
It will be a few months before I can dream of affording another rig, but would like to at least start looking and researching.
Maybe I need to look at an arc, or other Depower in a few months? I know I will not be getting up on a board in the water, water out here is to cold
for me. How are those to static fly and then progress to body dragging in the water? I understand a larger depower is going to fly slower which is
fine, just need something to put in the air on all these light wind days and would like this next rig to be usable in water if possible for taking on
trips east. I am not a board guy, so will not need something to provide power in motion. But it would be cool to pull myself out of the water or
water jump if possible.
