If this van's a' rockin'...then we're on the road and the shocks are gone on it! Crap! Our buggies ride inside with us....so the don't get dirty.

Gonna have to see the new baby everyone has been ooh-ing and ahhh-ing and congratulating on ...Konrad's buggy!

Let's join the workout crew! Rich...The Kidd....Anyone else?...anyone..Bueller?

I see plenty of wind in forecast still.

There was Woodstock... Then there's Wildwoodstock! Four Days of peace, love, music and Kite Buggying. See you hippies(Rocfighter!) on the beach.
ANNOUNCEMENT: "Hey, man...there's some brown jelly fish going around on beach.... if you decide to ride over this jelly fish and flip, that's your bad trip man." :barf: "For those that do, we'll have a tent set up with people to talk you down, and back into the buggy.

Well the winds are truly nuking right now. Last reading from the local weather spot was 33mph gusting to 40-45 NW.

Remember to pack your small kites. Current gusts are +30.
The first three buggies out had OBEs - all fun, but hard to hold on to handles. Hey - anyone have a gust-munching 5m de-power?
Winds tomorrow should be a little easier to hold on in :wee:

Go ahead... tell me to "go fly a kite!" Please!

Howard, what direction did you guys have today...? I have a 3m depower that would have been perfect !!

Wind has been out of the NW - heading almost straight out to sea.
A 3m de-power foil sounds great - a 5 would probably do too. Rich is thinking he might bring out his 6m Phanny (edit: 9m Phanny - he sold the 6). My 1.8m Core was super twitchy and was more than I could hold.

I hope Nick is feeling better.

Wind's were in the mid 20's again today with very high gust yet again. Only a few kiters got out mid morning. The best runs for most of us were after dinner when the gust left and the winds smoothed out a bit. I flew the 9m Phanny again this morning. It was even having a hard time with the gusty, punchy winds.

After dinner, a handful of us went back out. I put up the 12m and rode for a bit. It ended up not being enough kite, but had a good time any way.

Tomorrow, onshore winds, 14-15mph! Should be all but perfect!

You know what they say Cheezy, today was the best day yet, till tomorrow! On shore blowing 15mph at least if not a little more. End to end runs for a bit. The beach is really jacked up from the high winds and storms, but getting better as we pack it down.
