A frozen yogurt bar has just opened in the new shopping village. Near the roundabout between the convention center and the new Westin Hotel.

Tortuga Jacks, the New Mexican restaurant located in the old Finn's/ Blackbeard's site at Kite Beach, will open Monday the 4th. Right in time for us!

Awesomeness has begun! Love the campground already but who knows where I can procure a can of butane for a backpack stove?

They should have some at the campground store or there is a general store in the Beahview shops I'm certain will carry them... Maxwell's Hardware I think.

Thanks...the campground has propane only...I'll look in Beachview Monday for the butane...my kingdom for some boiling water at 6am!

They had an assortment of stuff at Maxwells (at the beachview shops) last time I was on the Island... If not, I'm sure Angus can direct you to the nearest Sporting goods store.
