I got my kite in the post today! The box was in great shape (unlike the last international shipment!). The kite was incredibly nice, in the fine quality and style that we've become accustomed to with all Born-Kites. Extremely thankful to John Holgate and Steffen Born for their generosity.

Now I just need enough wind to fly the bugger!!!! :singing:

I fashioned the bar into a "street kite" setup without the chicken loop (I've already got one of those). I've got some 5m lines on order from Big Mike, with the plan being to rig up a short line street setup with my smaller NS3s and try some buggying on pavement in parking lots near home. Should be a fun new skill to develop!

Jason - much obliged! Funny that you mention the rug. I took the pictures on it on purpose thinking it was a cool background for the kite. Glad you appreciated my efforts! ;)

Awesomeness Steve... enjoy the winnings!

I'm looking forward to videos from our PKF Nasa Star Division of the JWC this coming fall.... remember I am self appointed president of the Janky Wind Club and may have to recall your t-shirts and name tags if you do not submit

To be certain you qualify for membership into the JWC see the term janky in the kite terms thread.

Steve, if you do indeed qualify, you will be receiving your t-shirt and name tag soon.
