Thanks a lot!
The wheels are like Landsegler wheels, selfmade by my friend Rinus (the guy in the other videos with number H268). We call them Rinuswheels
Thank you, Cheezy!
Yes, the GT-Race is a nice one!
I am just an average hobby rider - if you want to learn, better check out the much better competition riders.

Around 430km. From Germany via Belgium to northern France.
Like myself, this is quite a commitment to buggy. Almost 4-5 hrs driving for you to buggy in supreme location. These videos are just recreational
riding...? You guys seem pro level riders for sure. I see why you do 3 day sessions. It seems a camper is almost necessary investment for buggy
lifestyle. I noticed in many European videos this is a common accessory.

Yes, just recreational riding. Relaxing!
Some of the guys in the videos are competition riders or on a very high level. My skills are on a much lower level! A pro rider told me that the only
way for learning how to ride on a high level is to do races. I dont do any races...
A camper is very useful for traveling to the spots, but its no must have. I use a tent or I rent a mobilehome at the camping.
Fantastic race, Juan! Great filming/editing as always.
Out of curiosity, can you tell me more about it? Who puts it on, where does everyone come from, how many laps etc... Is this like a major European
thing, or just a bunch of friends getting together? Did you guys finish however many laps you needed to, or do they just count how many laps you do in
8 hrs?
Is that one of those popup kickstarter tents in the poster frame on your video? Do they work as advertised?
The event was hosted by the french buggyclub Les Islandais. Its a funrace, no official championship, but the best european riders compete there. I am
glad that slower hobbyriders are welcome, too. The riders come from france,
netherlands, belgium, germany, UK, spain and of course colombia. OK, the colombian team consists of german colombians:D
Yes, they count the laps the teams do in 8h. I dont know how many because the results are not online.
I think the tent is a standard one. Maybe a quechua from the shop decathlon...
Good video I don't follow the racing side of things, so I'm surprised
to see that you all fly depower. There was a time when no one flew depower. I guess they started to win races?
I think it started around 2013 with Ozone Chrono. Nowadays you can not compete without a depower racekite. The 8h was dominated by the brandnew Peter
Lynn Aero2.

I'm curious if any bonefide racer takes the Born-Kite SS RaceStar series seriously? Have any shown up on the racing circuit? It has a 6:1 AR,
similar I believe to the leading DP race kites out there but I don't know if there are any advantages for SS in a race. Packing small, being light
weight, and taking off / staying aloft in low wind just don't seem to me like advantages for racing, but I have zero exposure to the race circuit for
kite buggies. Any insight on this topic would be appreciated.
Sorry right up front for the temporary thread hijack. I love your videos and watch each of them as you post them and absolutely share your stoke.
Your own beer bottles! Outstanding.
I do miss buggying at Les Hemmes, especially when the tide is low enough to ride out to the tower.
Pretty much everyone is on de-power foil kites for racing now.
Fixed bridal race kites are just not competitive any more. The de-power foils have such a larger wind window which is the main reason for them staying
ahead of the pack.
On a 2-3 mile course the wind changes pretty much all the time so it makes sense to be powered up all the time using a de-power foil.
They are easier to fly too.
