I would be honored to get a chance at the Ace 5.0. I bought my Blaze back in the spring and somewhat wished I had bought the Ace instead. I've
really enjoyed the Blaze and would like a chance to compare it to the Ace. The loner Ace is the same size as my Blaze so it would be an apples to
apples comparison. What size lines does the Ace like? I've tried the Blaze with 65' lines and 82'. It likes the 82's much better.

Sthrasher,
The 5.5 Brooza is in Oregon right now with Archkiter. Shipping should be reasonable from there + I don't think anyone else is in line.
You should take a look at + try the Brooza. They are a bit different in construction. Adjustable bridles + a different vent system. It has only 2
vents per side. That makes it a bit slow to inflate but a big advantage in bad winds.
Kites: 2.5m Profoil , Quadrifoil XL kitesurfer, NPW 5 Danger.
Flexifoil: 1.7m Sting, 4.9m Blade 3, 9m Blade 2.
Flysurfer : 19m Speed 2 SA, 7m Pulse
Peter Lynn :18m Phantom, 15m Synergy, 10m Synergy, 1200 Farc, 460 Sarc, 130 Tarc, 5m Peel, 4.2m , 6.4, 8.5 C-Quads, 3.5 LS2 single skin.
Rides: Flexi / P.L. Frankin'Buggy , Shaped + straight skiis, sand skis, Coyote blades. Core 95 ATB. RKB R2 ATB .

Archkiter has the Brooza now, Contact her with your shipping info, basically, you pay to ship it to the next guy. Keep the kite for as long as you
need, hopefully you can get at least 2-3 days on it to get a feel for it.

You talked me into it. This is probably the only chance I would ever get to try a Brooza. It looks like a stout piece of work. So that puts me on
the Brooza and the Ace lists. I see a trip to the coast coming up in the next few weeks, so maybe I might have one or both of them when that trip
comes together. This is really cool. Makes it like we are all in the same town.

I think is very fair and honest. You guys are hella cool for starting this. I hope it works out. I would like to try the Ace also. So, Bob i'll be
sending you the brooza and you can send me the Ace. Everyone needs to tell someone. the wife, kids, friend.) What we are doing so that in the event that someone dies or gets sick goes to jail.(yada-yada) The kites dont end up
sitting in a closet somewhere. Hope I didnt jinks anyone. Just an Idea.:wink2:

I hope the kites come with some wind in the boxes. I haven't had enough wind to get the kite out of the bag in weeks now. Well the beach would be
more fun anyways. Good idea to let someone know about this. No one I know outside the forum would have a clue about my participation here, much less
in the loaner program. Thanks to the donors. I will treat the kites with the utmost respect (a little better than if it was mine)

I am in marysville. The strip is out towards a place called mathews dryers. It's not real long but good enough for a run.going north on highway 20 its
off to the left a ways. There is no wind hear right now and the rice still has a little more drying to do then its on! Real good wind out there if it
is comming from the north. Lots of rice fields everywhere. Do you know someone with a sod field?

Tridude/DaVinch - the Ace arrived today. Picked it up this evening after work so haven't had a chance to fly it yet.
Unpacking it on the floor - first impressions - it's wiiiiide - v. high aspect, not sure what I was expecting but it's definitely thin and wide
Build quality looks pretty solid to me. Stitching looks very neat and tidy. Some of the insides looks a bit scruffy, but hey, you don't see that stuff
unless you're like me and stick you head in the openings to see what's going on inside
There's been a lot of talk on the RK forum about the material the Ace is made out of, and a lot of talk about ripstop nylon vs ripstop polyester,
longevity etc. Someone mentioned the Aces are made from polyester so I was expecting to see something like the material my Skytiger Hi60 is made of,
Icarex Polyester, but it's nothing like Icarex. Which actually I think is a plus, because 10 years on my Icarex Hi60 is starting to look a little thin
in places. Icarex is very thin and light, almost like tissue paper. The stuff the Ace is made of is definitely tougher, but still looks thiner than
other ripstop nylon kites I've seen. It feels pretty similar to the 12.5m Blaze that I have, so maybe all Panshes are made from the same material? It
feels thicker, more crispy than my Blaze though, and is hemmed over double and double stitched - looks a lot tougher than my Blaze.
Anyway, thats my first impressions, will let you know more when I take it out for a fly this weekend. Thanks again to Tridude for passing it on, and
for Davinch for sharing!
Since it's only 2 weeks to SOBB, does someone want to pick it up in person from me from SOBB instead of mailing it? (I'll have to go back to the list
to see who's next), but will this work for someone instead of mailing it direct?

If someone has a special opportunity to fly the kites, I don't mind being passed over. Our wind is just nothing for weeks now. We are headed for
some cooler weather but I don't know if that will generate any wind for me. I'm flexible on the order of this.
