Best of luck on the recovery. It sounds like some pretty gross negligence on the part of the demo crew and/or the GC. I think that you've gotten
great advice as far as getting a lawyer and keeping receipts, etc. I've got one more piece of advice. I would really keep what you say about the
whole situation on this public forum to a minimum. The lawyers and insurance claim people could somehow get a hold of your statements and try to use
them against you. I'm not saying that would happen, but it certainly seems like it could happen and I wouldn't take the chance. Maybe I'm just
paranoid.
I honestly wouldn't say to much at least until you've talked to a lawyer and get their opinion. Even admitting that you had been out for a quick
buggy ride or something could come back to you in worker's comp proceedings if they really investigated it. I'd keep the conversation tuned towards
all the fancy new kites you're going to be flying when you make it back out there. Just my (paranoid) 2 cents. Good luck kite shopping!

Good advice KiteNH, as for getting info on WC lawyer... don't worry about that because you will be getting tons of them in the mail wanting your case
as soon as you file for workmans comp. Ambulance chasers!

Sorry I didn't get to put my two cents in earlier - here's to getting better - kitting is fun but walking is a blessing. I'll see you soon skip -
make that hobble - just kidding.
