I wont be able to go Sunday though. Taking my girlfriend to the zoo so she can get up close and personal with the giraffes. Shes going to get to be zoo keeper for a day but only for the giraffes. They are her favorite animal so I should score some major brownie points for this one :D

I 'll be there saturday and maybe sunday too! Hope it blows east I need some buggy time! Low tide is midday this weekend , so there will be beach to ride on.

I will see if I can clear some time and cash. I need to finish my new aluminum buggy (seat and wheels) so I could cruise it down there.

I just got home from flying with Nick. No bugs but plenty of decent wind. There was one kite boarder out there but he had a 16m out and decided it just wasnt gonna work so he packed it up.

Man ,I was in Va beach at the shop ,looking out the big bay door. Wind was kickin', it was killin me. Did you guys do ok? have you done any buggyin' yet? I was rollin around on the landboard tuesday ,but it wasn't any fun. so I went home. glad there was wind for ya', maybe sat. I will get some blow. Then there is always tropical storms this time of year ,and just before the storm is some kick- butt wind .Bring impact protection,and lots of small kites

Wind was good. I had fun. Flew NicS-P-A-M-L-I-N-K-s PL for a few minutes on his new handles (very cool lookin in person btw). I havent been in a buggy yet. Still itching too...lol. And I only have my 3m Beamer as a small kite. That 5m Ace is on the way to me It would have been fun to have it at the beach today though.

I have a side job this weekend so no flying for me this weekend. I am off tomorrow and friday though. Gotta work from Thursday @ midnight till about 6 or 7 friday morning so after a quick nap friday Im gonna be ready to fly again

ya need ta get yer butt in a buggy before JIBE. So ya will be able to hold yer own.lot to learn in a short time,but it's not that hard.I don't think the 5.0 ACE is gonna be your buggy engine,until you get real good and daring. we gotta get you a buggy bro'( or build one )

Yea Im broke as #@%$#! right now. Car taxes killed me. I shouldnt have even bought the Ace but I think I can get enough together to get a buggy in the next few weeks. Im working a side job the next few weekends so thats cash right in the bank

Only thing keeping me from getting a buggy besides money is a place clse to me to use it. Not too sure how often I would be using it.

there are a few places to ride and I'm always lookin for more. Hey dude landboards don't take up much room. But they aint cheap. I'll start a jasons buggy part stockpile at work. maybe the weldngod will hook you up w / a frame. I aint sayin it would be before JIBE cause it takes a while to get the parts, but I will start lookin through the scrap pile every day for potential parts.

seat material nylon webbing is easy to fab with ,but on my new one I'm gonna make a cordura and web seat .I will let you know how much the material is when I get mine.

I have got to get me a 7.0 blurr for the low winds we have been having lately.were not getting those 15-20s like we did last year. seems to stay at 5-10 w/ gusts to 15 if your lucky. If we could just get this high pressure system outta here ,maybe we could get a breeze. Static flying just doesn't get it anymore,I need to get in motion

I'm back, and tired. Winds were 10-15 for a while then shifted and picked up to 20+. I had a blast, made a few one way runs with the 4.7 and then flew my little aces, man I love those little kites.They are STRONG pullers in 20+ ,and they fly perfect on flexi handles and lineset. I'm gonna have to get a 5 or 6 meter ace for jumpin' ,so I'll have more float. Tomorrow Cristobal will be a little closer and the winds should increase and come out of the EAST!! Woo Hooo! I am gonna tear that beach up!:singing: We did some fishing today and caught 6 sharks ( one was a blacktip). It's like they Know a storm is coming. We have never caught any sharks out there, and today we catch six! What the heck am I laughing at ,I swim there all the time!:o anyhow jason if you get a chance , come on! If it don't rain I'm out there!

If the wind is decent and out of the East Southeast or Southeast tomorrow I'll likely be up there. It'd be nice to finally meet you guys.
