I think there is some skill involved in reading waves , he's obviously still aquiring those skills....the hard way.

That's a normal windy day here at high tide. In fact I bet that's pretty much the norm for a lot of ocean beach breaks, and it can get a lot bigger
and gnarlier than that. People look at me funny when I body drag out past the shore break on days like this, but let this happen to them and they'll
understand why I do it.

Good one, made me laugh.
this is an example of exactly why I worry about riding in the ocean. I think it is important for people to see how easily someone can get swallowed
by a wave so they can be properly cautious.
