Was a fun field to ride. Wind was up and down. Ground was very rough. There were potholes and other odd obstacles that I didnt have trouble
navigating, but the worst part was the plant growth. Looked like corn stalks that had been hacked off at about 3-6 inches. Not sure exactly what they
were, but they made me real nervous about crashing my kite into the ground. I did crash my S3 a couple times, but fortunately came away with no damage
to the kite...

You're right. It's only an 80% chance of rain all day with winds all the way up to 8mph.

Yeah.... I didnt fly at all this past weekend. Bit too wet. Rain was pretty light at times, but I was busy doing other things. Maybe we will get a
repreve sometime soon and be able to hit some of our local spots this coming weekend. If only the water would warm up some more...

Maybe someone will eventually figure out how to make geese look and taste more like chicken, turkey...(anything other than goose, really).
Then my local pond alone could solve World Hunger. It has year-around flocks of those noisy, poopy domestics and Canuck expatriates. (Maybe when the
Loony surpasses the dollar, then they'll finally go home?)
Visitors and their kids keep throwing food at them (against the posted rules). I keep thinking "Hey...on the park gravel today, then all over my
fields, ripstop and wheels next week!"

Looking at the possibility of a cold-water session this coming Sunday in Dewey, DE. Water temps are currently right around 49 degrees on the ocean
side. I am hoping the bay will be a bit warmer (I would expect so with the shallower waters). Air temps are supposed to peak right around 60 degrees.
Winds will be South, starting at about 11mph picking up to 16mph or so by 4pm. This is, of course, all subject to change. However, these predictions
have been pretty consistent since Tuesday. Hard to say if it will change or not.
If it doesnt change too drastically, I'll head out Sunday morning for an all day session on the water. Anyone interested? Might be a tad bit cold in
the water, but that's what a wetsuit is for.
If you need a ride, directions, or whatever, drop me a line. Hope to see some folks there.

Will be fun to have you along my friend. I didnt think tides were right for this weekend at wildwood. Or did I misread them again? Also, didnt look
like nearly enough wind on Saturday. Sunday might be a whole lot of fun, though, heading south might be a tad bit difficult...

Mike,
You're right about the low tides, they are pretty late in the day and the wind direction is not helping either. I don't know if I'm gonna go, yet. If
at least the wind direction would improve...

Sorry bud. Still, if you have big wheels on your buggy, you could go up into the dunes and still have a good time. Sunset is getting later, so if you
dont mind the trip, you could have a good time later in the afternoon once the tide starts going out.
I'm not heading in that direction, but if are, I hope you have some fun. If I didnt have to pay for gas and lodging, or spend 8 hrs in the car to get
there and back, I'd be game.

On Sunday in WW, the winds were strong, but gusty (up to 20mph). I met with Martin and Petra at the end of the day. I didn't have their phone number
and they didn't have mine... so we ended up playing in different areas of WW.

Sounds pretty rough.
I was down in Dewey doing some kitesurfing. Had a BLAST. Winds were a bit light, but thats what the 15m S3 is for. Worked great. If I had to guess,
I'd say winds started around 10mph, picked up to about 15, then died back down by the end of the day. I was riding my door for the majority of it, got
to do about 45 minutes of riding on my rip 34, which was really fun.
Glad you got out, did you, at least, get some good rides in?

Water didnt feel cold at all while I was out riding. I took a few dunks in the drink, but didnt really feel it. Though, when we were packing up, and I
went to take off my booties in the water, I found out just how cold it was. When I reached down into the water to take them of, the cold hit my hands
and that was when I realized that... holy **** its cold! Aside from that one moment, I was fine and I was in the water for probably close to 4 hrs...
