After looking at the Makani Power site I sooooo would love to have a job there - It would be fascinating to work in a field of researchers dealing
with such incredible raw power - just imagine how much force could be generated by a 200m arc dual skin flying on 1000m lines! My god. I know its
not the upward pull that's generating the power but if you could make it a depower you could lift a house.

Very interesting ... I just read that article
The fact that the kite makes power from the wind is amazing enough, but then the factor of a moving kite and the increased air volume from the
movement of the kite is over the top. I think I should try and buy some stock in Makani Power. especially with Google backing them.

Welcome to my world. Really, just hold it by the trailig edge and shake it out. You mau have to work the tip cells sideways a bit to get sand either
to the center open cells or to the tips where the dirt-outs are.

Putting a leaf blower into the dirt out tends to blow it all out of te cells, then do the same on the other dirt out.

Shaking always does it for me as well. Amazing the amount of sand a few trips to the beach can accumulate.

I'm in the tampa area new years as well! We are camping at Fort Desoto. I have talked to Steve Pigeon about getting together for a buggy session one
day either where I am or driving north to one of those long beaches up near Clearwater. That would be cool to have a get together. We are there the
29th till the 4th.

I don't want to be insulting if you are real but to me this seems like a scam. You sign up, and your first post is advertising a website that sells
lamps and kites? first of all lamps and kites? second of all, I just find that a bit weird....:puzzled:

Are you going to buy a kite with the proceeds from this sale? You do realize what this site is all about? I'm just giving you a heads up for when
people either ignore this and let it fade away or start berating you for posting something that really doesn't belong here.
