anytime bro'! you will get better,you just gotta get comfy w/ handles. Wind picked up after you left,we stayed till about 7. I put the AAA kit in a higher mode and went ballistic on the beach. I am exhausted, but I would go and do it again right now if I had a chance.

15-20 + and I was haulin azzzz. Clintopher was out there on his kiteboard, and got up quite a few times.Pulled off an excellent kite save ( I was sure it was gone)I let him try my rage in low power mode, thetn let him try the buggy.But when the power came on he wasn't ready for that.But in do time, guess he needs to get used to handles first.He uses a bar and a strop so he just isn't used to all that power on his grip. But he got the general idea.Wish you could have made it,it was almost perfect traction conditions thanx to Cristobal down to our south. Is it a bad thing to say" I got blown by Cristobal"?

Yeah, once I got down wind towards the bend the kite started to act like there was less wind and I was struggling a bit keeping it in the air. I thought for sure it was gonna hit the drink.

Now I'm trying to resist the temptation of buying Davinch's 4.5 Bullet since I had such a good time with your kite. I'll probably cave though.

on the down side ,I had some bad ass video on my flip vid-cam ,but a huge wave washed up on the beach when I looked up at the kite. I drove straight into it. Soaked me the buggy ,the camera (not waterproof) . when I got back to the "landing" zone,and dried it off. the batteries were smoking hot . It won't power on now, and my computer won't recognize it.I'm more concerned about the vids than the camera though

That sucks...almost as much as missing out on a sweet kite for 2 bills. LOL

that cam was almost two bills edit: And the vids were priceless!

NAM and WFS weather models have the wind coming out of the SSE in the upper teens on Wed evening. If that holds true I might come up there after work. I know a side shore blow doesn't really work for you and you're buggy, but are you down?

depends how long it takes to get back from the va beach shop. I'll u2u ya my cell # , call me around 4.The heat index is gonna be 108+,and that late in the day it's like a blast furnace outside. Our ancestors were tough as nails ,ta live with no ac .how in the heck did we survive?

Dang, I didn't realize the temp was supposed to be so high. Lucky for me I'll be in the water most of the time. The walk out there and back is gonna be brutal though.

If it isnt that hot Id be down to meet up too.

I've got a pile of aluminum parts to weld,and that gives off a tremendous amount of heat:flaming: I hope there is enough of me left in the afternoon to hold a kite down:sniff:
