Well Todd you have three weeks to heal up. We need a chef at the bash! Or at least a burger licker for Cheesy.
Man I'm glad things went well for you. This is a hard time and we are all here to herass and torment you. Just to show you how much we really do care.
Make sure your boy is getting enough rest as well as you. He is a good sign as to how well you have raised him.

We were looking for items to put in his room and thought about putting a kite up but all I had were Beamers and I didn't think they were bright enough so Rich was gracious enough to lend his to the cause. I do have a small window kite stuck on the clock in his room to remind him that it is time to fly but that didn't get in the picture.
BTW he is doing great and getting better by leaps and bounds!

You know, I sometimes feel like "it doesn't need to be said" so I don't. And I sit here reading these posts thinking about you guys......and my step mom who, hasn't heard these things that "don't need to be said". Todd, I LOVE seeing this support rallied around you (myself included) but I want to thank all of the supporters for showing me as plain as can be that I should just share what's in my heart with her.

Corey - I hear ya and agree with rocfighter....sometimes ya gotta feel it and let it out. Once you sort it out you can get on with what my step mom refers to as "the new normal". She was deemed 'inoperable' when she was diagnosed 2 years ago so you can imagine how the waterworks were but, taking each day as a precious gift and just living the 'new normal' has made each day a celebration. Chemo was rough on her but they've beaten it back and she feels fantastic now and has the same zest for life that she always had - if not even more of a zest.

Just thought I'd share. It's not easy but love, faith, family and friends help ease the burden. After 2 years we actually kinda forget about the cancer - don't focus on it at all...it's become that much of a 'normal'.

Prayers to you guys and all of this PKF family. You are all quite a special bunch....and I don't mean 'special' like a cookie

Very well said Macboy. My mother is also a cancer survivor. She is 8 years removed now. There also was a big adjustment just trying to cope with everyday struggles of cancer, and it's effects on her. Once our family got in a routine, it was like you said, you almost stop thinking about it on a daily basis.

Support is definitely a huge ingredient to getting through cancer.

You are right about the PKF family, it is a great bunch of people. With continued support from PKF, and the rest of his family and friends, Todd should be in the buggy before we know it.

Corey you are still doing a great job! Hang in there bro!

Very rough past few days with a splitting headache and terrible pains in the abdomen, didn't get out X-ray until 3:15 this morning. Demurral pump was just squeaking out enough to somewhat dull the pain but increase a headache, go figure. Getting set up for a new shot that made me talk to myself  It's been crazy but thank you all for still thinking on me.

I think you need caffine. A couple days without coffee and I'm a wreck. But they most likely wont let you have that yet. Hang in there and watch lots of videos of NABX over the next week or so. Popeye says he will be posting with his new camera.

Hi all,

Todd is improving to the point that he could be released this week and maybe as soon a today or tomorrow? but I do not want to jinx it :tumble: Please keep him in your prayers as he comes home and starts to get his world back together with work and riding/flying with friends. We have missed him dearly and can not wait until he can hang with the gang again. I am sure it will take some time to readjust to a new healthy life style as it would for anyone  like myself... but we are all here for you buddy! Todd does have some news to tell but i will save that for him. His wifi at the hospital is less then Par at best so he is not on as much as he would like to be.

thats it for now..
Thank you all again for all of your support.
BTW the Cookies were awesome!!!! and yes he did eat some (don't tell the Doctor) lol

I was really shocked to get the message from him saying he was home today! Had to call his cell phone just to make sure it was not a mistake.

Todd, I am glad you are home and I also can't wait to get back on the field with you. You know you have my support. You have a great group of friends around you ready to help get you back up to par!
