Thrash I don't know how you do it with 5 kids, I have responsibility for only 2 kids with 2 baseball teams practice games and tournaments, piano and trumpet lessons, homework and school projects, a 40 hour work week and a house to take care of to boot. I still manage to work it in, like during piano practice and on the baseball practices that I'm not a coach I can go to a neighboring field and get some flying in. But I really can't put kite flying in front of any of the above things. I can shift my schedule on the flexible items but most of it is on a strict timetable. We try to get to the gym a few days a week. Add in all the other hobbies we do as a family and it seems even worse. Water Skiing, snow skiing, inline skating, mountain biking, college football games, and camping. Usually the camping ENABLES kite flying though. the others block it.

It's really pretty easy with three kids, when it's windy we go to the park and fly, second bug as a trailer gives the kids lots of time getting rides in, all three fly as well at 4,6,and 8 yrs old and all three have moved across the feild in the buggy using only kite power, straight downwind at this point.

Non windy but sunny, bike rides(I'll atb) time at park with playground(take turns riding ATB down the hill at the playground as well. Rainy days, Pool, vid games, cleaning and other chores.

If the whole family kites, it's easy to find time. MrsPablo kites, but preferes to take pics, so she got a decent camera and is now happy when we go out because she's got something to shoot.

That's the main reason I originally started kiting, I was into white water kayaking, motorcycles and such, but it all took time away from my family. Now my "hobby" is something that the whole family can do. Nothing says summer like hanging out at the beach, building sand castles, jumping sandcastles, ripping up the beach and in general making memories that'll last a lifetime. The fact that I make a couple bucks along the way is gravy.

The Brooza is heading at ya BeamerBob. Should be there in a few days.

Great kite!:D I got a good session in yesterday with it. Flew it in 10-12mph winds gusting up to 16. I really liked the way it handled the gusts, easy to fly kite with a lot more pop than I expected.

What happens to these kites after they make the rounds? Pablo, I would definitely love to take that Brooza off your hands if you're looking to sell it afterwards.

Thanks for letting me try it out Pablo:thumbup:

awesome, I made the wind go away yesterday by getting my kite bad out of the car. Hopefully, I will have some wind to make the Brooza go.

Here's the updated list for the Ace:

GulfSandEater
kiteboarder2b
Beamerbob
Sthrasher
Wind-Dave

I haven’t seen kiteboarder2b around here lately, so we'll have to see if he is still interested.

I've always been interested but, the lack of $$$ situation is the pits... & not having heavy enough lines.. are the main stopping points on trying any of the kites floating around in the "Pass the ***** Programs"

Hey Nebula, You better get those lines. Thats nice of you DaVinch:saint: I am sending the Blade this weekend Do you want me to wait until you have line? Let me know. Bob if kiteboarder doesn't reply you may be having all three kites around the same time. Pray for some wind. I was in the same boat. Kites comming and no wind:mad: But when they arrived the wind god gave me some good days outta nowhere. I feel blessed. Nothing worse than to have new kites to try and no wind. Good luck.

Hey Davinch, not sure how far down the list I am for the Pansh but you can pull me off.

I broke down and Bought a 8.0m ACE Yesterday  . The Rad7 is pretty and has solid non stop pull but I have to work it too hard to get my fat but Airborne. I'm going to try the Ace and probably put my Rad7 on the Sale page soon.

I ordered it :singing:, it should arrive in a few days. China post is supper quick. Ill put a write up in the reviews section when I have a chance to fly it. I plan on doing a side-by-side compare between my Rad7 and ACE8 w/photos (Almost went for the Blaze II 12.0 but my criteria is LIFT! )... Pansh dosn't bundle the big guy with handles so Ill be using my RAD handles until I can find some one willing to sell me a set for a steal of a price.
