rec'd everyones phone #s..........if anyone has room for a cooler that would be great. With the kids, dog, boards, and kit, one cooler is all I can carry. Forecasts have all lined up about the same, NE at 12 to 15 mph or so. 2 dayz and a wake up!

I can throw in one of our 48 quart coolers. I can't believe we're almost there. Looks like enough wind to make the zippers happy too.

SecState gave me an extended exit visa so I booked a night locally - will be able to enjoy the whole day and dinner without worry of a late return trip.

Angus, if it isn't too much to ask, would you mind bringing that 4m Scout as an option for Wexler? The wind might go above what he wants for the Montana, which would probably be too much for him and the crossfire. That Scout would be better for him than going all the way down to the Beamer.

Will head back Sunday AM unless it sucks Saturday. Will bring Scout.

Marine forecast is in conflict with the ground stations on the velocity. Both agree on the direction. Did appear that the swell heights were diminishing so T-dude may have called this one. Bump

NE means "No Excitement" and SE means "So Excitement" for land buggy...

Well, in my excited anticipation, I got my prototype backrest installed last night. I also aired up my tires in the buggy. I let the pressure drop to about 17 for riding on bumpy grass but wanted them tight for the hard sand. I will get the car loaded tomorrow. Still looking like about 9-10 from the NE at last check of the weather channel.

Rob, I guess you will bring your comp XR? Are you able to get it in it's own suitcase for travel? I wonder what that looks like if they xray the luggage.

From my experienced travelling - my Libre full race, Libre special, or PL comp XR can fit in my super size SKB hard golf case while wheels goes to kite duffel bag. No problems going thru security several times and TSA always opened it as buggy parts are unusually seen before. I was planning to bring my Libre special this weekend but my daughter and wife got sick from school virus today plus NE wind is no excitement to come all the way from Texas..... Hope you all locally from Carolinas and Georgia have fun. Let me know the next event next year and of course JIBE is on my calendar already :wink2:

weather channel has bumped up to 11 mph NNE but that is a big gap between the forecasts. The national weather service is catching up to tridudes forecast now.

down to a wake up Im headed down later this morning to catch a few waves................forecasted 9 feet at 10 am. Ill swing by the county park on my way home for a looksee. Swell is out of the south so the beach should look pretty good. Off shore winds today so waves and beach will clean up. County Park isnt known for waves unless everywhere is is closing out, which is good for the sand/buggy/KGB. Anywho, a check this morning with report to follow.................

out here......waves are crankin pretty good. Winds off shore about 13 knots. Every now and then we get some head hi plus conditions..............................

main beach is looking good, the point was a bit narrow and softer sand.............. good new is with a NE you can run a longer diagonal on main beach.............you buggy guys shouldnt have any problems with a good upwind sail....................

I 26 exit 209 to 212 (I 526 interchange) is under construction. Make sure your doing at or just above 55mph. SCHP (South Carolina Highway Patrol) are thick on the weekends. Also, at exit 218 (Citadel exit) the limit drops to 50mph. Again make sure you under 55. Your gonna get passed by at least 50 vehicles before your reach the cross town (exit 221) but you wont be getting a ticket. Friend of mine just bought a $185 ticket here. Clocked at 74 in a 50.
