Belly pans?

Just got back...wind never got above 11 and that was only for a brief moment. Ended up flying my big kite on the beach and getting to know it better...figured out how to do little 2 ft jumps. I still had fun flying the kite so it wasn't all bad AND I didn't get rained on.

Always a bonus.

Who's coming out this weekend? We (the wife and myself) are planning on Saturday.

I cant make it this weekend, next probably.

Looks like we're gonna stay on this side of the water today...maybe go to one of the beaches around here. Wind is forecasted, whatever that means, to pick up tomorrow afternoon so I may ride out to Hampton if it pans out.

I thought about skippin' out myself but sometimes that's hard to do when your boss is your father-in-law and he's fully aware of a certain kite obsession. I'll be in Ocean View right after work though.

It's supposed to blow pretty decent thru Friday.

Went down the beach this afternoon two buds were wind surfing...10-14 mph

woo - hoooooo!!!!!!! I had a blast ! got to my secret location about 12:00 ,tide was high .So I drank beer and played w/ my little pansh aces, man for a little kite they sure can fling ya around! About 3:00 the hard sand started showing and I started buggyin! The wind was perfectly out of the east. I tore the beach up for a couple of hours then I started hearin this sound I can't even describe. But I know what bit means , a bearing race just disintegrated ! That didn't stop me though I was havin way too much fun. So now I'm home and I gotta tear down the wheels to replace bearings! Anyway you guys missed a kick ass day, but I did about 50- 60 runs up and down the beach . Today was the kind of day I dream of!:D

glad you had a good time if the condition's hold I may be try'n out a new spot in franklin Thursday or Friday. It will be less then ideal but worth a try

I had a pretty good day too. Went to Ocean View and kite boarded about a mile downwind. The only bad part was the walk back. One of these days I'll learn how to stay upwind. LOL.

Ain't no shame in it bro'. We all have to do it. But not today for me, Iwuz haulin azz both ways like I had a motor.I even pulled off a 360*, but the 180* right after snatched me out backwards! I didn't crash the kite though:D Wish you woulda been there . I would have had you buggyin

The wind chart looked like it was totally in your favor. You must have been screemin' up and down that beach. Were you able to buggy back to the entrance?

I was able to get a good session yesterday evening as well. The wind was a good 15 or so, but like you the walk back sucked...

Where did you go?

I was in the James River. There are sand flats 3 feet deep at low tide- on the west side of the JRB ( Jones cREEK)
