Thanks for the kind comments everyone!
The Contour HD comes with a goggle strap mount which I placed the Velcro strap from the Phantom (that holds the spar in place) in it to hold it
secure. I have a couple of different ideas on mounts.
Something to keep an eye on is the go-pro 1080 that's coming out in fall. I read up a little on it and this should be the one to get. They reworked
the short battery life issue and I will put an order in for this one.

This is, so far, the most vivid VR style kiting video I've yet seen.
You should submit it to the vholdr site community.
I already downloaded the vid to vicariously enjoy on my laptop on those crappy, windless, or rainy days.
(all I need now is a giant plasma screen and a blowing fan!)

Nice vid Todd! I love the HD. I was considering that camera when I was looking for mine, but was a little hesitant since it was new to the market and
battery life was reported a bit low in comparison. Still considering it though, in addition to the one i've got. Then I can get multiple angles on the
same run. Make sure you bring them toys to Wildwood in October!
And don't hold out man! Where is that field?!?! Can I come and play?!?

Oh don't worry; those toys will be out in force for much needed videos!
We will be in that field on Sunday!
So far possibly:

And YOU!
I plan on sitting under the shade tree and doing some recording. I have to resist the urge to get into the buggy and heal. That's hard.
So far battery life hasn't been an issue, it lasted an entire day with us recording off and on. I plan on picking up an additional battery for it.
Very easy to turn on record while wearing gloves.

Yes, I hope to get down there too (it'd still be a bit of a drive for me) and I will pack all my modest toys (as I hope everyone else will).
Maybe we can shake out some more DelMarVa boys too!

DOH!!! I'm leaving for Chincoteague, VA tonight, so I won't be able to make it Sunday. Gonna be down there through the weekend and hopefully part of
the week. I'll definitely have to try and make it out there sometime when I get back, looks like a good spot.
