Welcome to the D'Arc side????

Thinking about making a move to the D'Arc side. I was about to pull the trigger on a Neo 11 for beach / buggy / static fun and now am thinking about the PL Charger 15.

I recently ended up with a first gen 1120 (best guess is circa 2000) but am thinking that this kite's performance is not representative of the current offerings.

Thoughts? Input? Is the charger really gonna be all that???

Worth waiting or better to snag a deal on a used Synergy?

I am in Kentucky so there are not too many fliers of any big kites out my way. (I am, of course, doing my best to change this!)

Thanks in advance.

if you're in a rush go for the Syn .. if you can wait 3 weeks go for the Charger

i'd pre-order your Charger so you get one the second it comes out.

Arcs are totally worth it. I live in missori, so I'm in the same boat with not many other liters. Arcs fly great inland and are so easy to fly

just curious if i am actually on that pre-order list. i bring it up every once in a while just to refresh your memory but wondering if you have an actual written list of guys with first dibs (with me on it of course)?

me wants a green/yellow 15m :wee:

Last we heard, about the same or a few % less than the Syn for kite-only. The new Navigator bar will be more than the current Twinskin bar, but the price is not announced yet.

The Neo 11m will have a slightly lower low end by 1-2 mph and the Syn / Charger will have a higher high end while eating gusts better. In light irregular winds the Neo will be a bit more tolerant and predictable, where the ARCs can do wonky things like turn inside out, which does not always end well.
