I don't know if you can preview still images with the camera while you're out there. I use a little sony point and shoot, and take a photo with the camera when I've got it in place for filming, that way I can check the field of vision. I've also done that, noted where the edges of the image are, and drawn long lines in the sand so I can see whether or not i am in the field of view. You could choose landmarks as well.

vimeo was slow, couldn't see your jumps!

fixed bridles, flying static, been two years now... ??? folks must be wondering....

sting 1.7, dp power 2.5, crossfire 3.2, ace 5, blade iv 6.5, ace 8, ace 12...

also a couple of arcs, 12 syn and 12 phanny, but i\'m not yet up to speed on them.

Unfortunately the Bullet cam can't be viewed without download. :ticking:

I missed the jumps but not completely. You catch the landings as I enter at the left.:ticking:

Vimeo seemed to run O.K. this a.m. ?

I'm working on it. I'm sure they'll get better.

bummer you can't preview out in the field... maybe figure out what the angle of view is and mark that on the cam?

vimeo is slow for me in HK. also I think my ISP is trying to throttle me becuz of too many torrents. i'll check back in 24 hrs, I've always been intrigued by the blades, i want to see those jumps...

I have my eye on getting one of these. waterproof is a nice feature. usually it means you don't have to worry about sand getting in it either.

That is English Bay in behind. It's one of the spots we got banned from. We have chosen to obey the ban in summer due to crowds + light wind. In turn we say " come and get us " once the lifeguards are no longer there ( May to Sept ). It is a great spot for learning on water. Winter winds are better anyway!

Vanier gets super clean wind but is very small. Just enough to get speed, jump and then turn. I literally had a cheering crowd for a while last Sunday ! That felt a bit odd ?
